Michaela Baldwin

Showcased Artist, Visual Artist

Michaela Baldwin is a visual artist and writer, born and raised in Mississippi. She began her journey as a self taught artist in 2019. Her pieces are conceptualized through mediums such as acrylics, oils, sculpting, digital illustrating, and writing. Her pieces are untold stories, sightings, and feelings conveyed with a journey of existence through life. Her creation of art can hint towards the conventions of an aesthetic energy without pushing a performance. The pieces she feature stimulate a person’s ego and perception, as seen through personal atrocities and attempts of “justice”.

Her current project is a collection of digital and traditional paintings that are a time capsule of life and personal experience as a black woman, who is learning through falling apart.
